Re: Veg causing excess urine

It varies alot to be honest...they dont get parsley everyday but they do get cabbage which i thought was ok because a guide on here said it was. I use woodshavings but I always make sure its skipped out and the surface is dry, and a big skip out every 7 days, but usually its twice a week. She does smell of urine quite abit when she gets very wet..
We took her to the vet and we got Baytrill and Fibre Paste...she had those for a week and she seemed fine by the end of that week (no veg at all that week), when she stopped these and got barely any veg again she was fine...it was as soon as more veg got added to the diet. Bladder stones I doubt she has because there has never been any sign of pain, blood, whiteness etc and the vet did have a feel and she couldnt feel any stones, but we didnt think she had that to begin with.
If it was a URI she would probably be wet regardless of the veg, but it does seem to be the veg that is causing this pee'ing.
Thanks for replying, very greatful
