If they are over a year old and having problems with calcium spots you definately want to feed a timothy hay based plain pellet such as Oxbow's Cavy Cuisine or KM's Timothy Choice and give them limited portions. They need no more than 1/4 cup each per day. Cavies over 6 months should always get limited pellets ranging from 1/8-1/4 cup per day. |
