Aside from being more educated about guinea pig and small pet care I have not changed. My GP's have a %100 better life because of this site. I did start out with one GP in the largest (but still way to small) pet store cage. They did happen to get a plain timothy based pellet, but that was only by chance, with a handful of hay a day. Now we have two, in a 2x4 C&C style cage, they get unlimited hay, and veggies twice a day, plus more floor time. They also have their first vet visit in a couple of hours. If someone asks me or mentions that they are thinking about GP's ill pass all the info I have. But I would not say I have become an advocate. |
