-Petstore cage with cedar bedding
-NO hay, Nutriphase pellets
-Veggies only when there were scraps from cooking
-Big running ball and leash
-"Floor time? What's that?"
-Me: "Guinea pigs? Well I felt sorry that my brother wasn't taking care of his guinea pig so I took it home. It's an ok animal I guess, kinda boring." "Popcorn, that's a snack."
Now:
-5 pigs, all but one are shelter or CraigsList babes
-10x2 C&C with fleece
-Oxbow pellets and unlimited hay
-More fresh veggies than a salad bar!
-Vet care when needed
-Lots of out-of-cage time
-Me: "Guinea pigs? Screw dogs and cats, pigs are the best. They have so much personality and are so cute... oh look he's popcorning!"
