You can get many patterns and a variety of solid colors of fleece at any fabric store. It's usually on sale this time of year. Fleece you'll find is much easier to maintain - you just change the cage once a week and vaccuum (using a small hand vac like a dirt devil) the poops every day. I built a second level hayloft (see my photos) and also put their littler box up there below the hayloft. That way the hay doesn't stick to the fleece and I can change the litter portion more often if I like (they seem to pee in there the most lucky me). |
