I had a feeling that that wasn't going to be big enough. It is difficult for my daughter to clean the cage we have. We have to have it high enough off the ground so that my dogs don't give the our babies a heart attack. I help her clean it, but she has been complaining that the litter and hay are always on the floor. (I complain about that too.) Is there a neater way to keep these little guys?? Any suggestions would be great.
You could make the coroplast walls higher this might cut down on what is thrown out of the cage. Although if you put up 12" coroplast walls I don’t think the piggies could stand up and look out. I’m not sure what it would do to their general mood limiting what they can look at. It will not stop everything from being kicked out. When my piggies get rambunctious they can really kick up the aspen shavings. But I have 12" coroplast on the sides of the cage that face to walls to limit the amount of stuff that get kicked to the sides of the cage that I have to move to clean.
