Sunseed is one of the very low quality feeds. It's down there with Hartz and 8-in-1 (which is owned by Hartz). Could you possibly find Mazuri 5664 in your area? It's much better quality than Sunseed. As for the hay, have you checked into maybe getting it by the bale from feedstores? There are alternatives to buying online but you have to be able to find them.
Have you asked your parents why they are against getting the food and hay online? There are just some people who don't trust internet shopping. I've been burned a couple times on ebay but most of my experiences have been positive so I have no qualms about buying online. If you pay for your own pigs food and hay, I think KM may have options to mail in orders with a money order as an alternative to ordering it online. You could check out her site to find out. If you have your own money, there are now prepaid Visa and Mastercards that you and your parents could check into getting also. |
