Question Best/Safest Way To Make Divided 2X4 ? Help!

Somwhere I read that cage re-vamping is addictive.

Yup. Addictive, Frustrating, and Fun all at the same time

So... I'm back - again - for another re-vamp of my piggies cage.

Here are pics of what my cage looks like now (picture #1) back through my previous revamp (picture #2)

Our very first one is in the photo gallery, but I'm not going to post a pic because having the boys together isn't an option (which is what the first cage was)

Picture #1

The below is a picture of my current C&C cage. The girls are a new addition to our home, which is why we re-vamped. Current cage is Three 2X4 levels. Reeses has the bottom level, Bailey is in the middle, and the top are Daisy & Delilah. Reeses & Bailey have been seperated since my previous C&C cage (see picture #2) b/c they fight alot (un-neutured males)

Picture #2

The cage below we built in an attempt to both seperate and keep the boys together so they wouldn't be lonely (but wouldn't kill eachother either!) As you can tell, the demensions were not suitable, but the boys were "neighbors" so they seemed to do okay with that. It was completely an in-the-meantime cage since they had started fighting, and Bailey had just gotten out of quarentine because of a lump he had, and we were planning on getting the girls so we waited to revamp (which is pic #1, our current cage)

So.... being somewhat of a new piggy mom, there's alot of trial and error (thank you all for being patient and helpful!)

The girls are fine together - they are from the same litter, they have lived together their whole lives. The boys - obviously are not fine together, and right now it would not be feasable (time and money wise) to adopt any more piggies, or spay the girls. Which leaves me back in the same dilema I was in a while back.

The boys can't get along at all, they fight way too much and there's been vet visits, blodshed, etc. BUT while they obviously can't be housed together, I also really don't like them being housed apart either (and I'm not entirely sure they do either!) So I am looking for the best/easiest/safest way to yet again revamp the cage (preferably being able to use the materials I already have) Is there a way where the boys are seperated but also together, so they aren't lonely. Not sure how to go about doing that ?

Could use all the help I could get !

It would make for much happier pigs (and pig momma, me!)

Thanks !
