My piggies looove freshly cut grass (from a non-high-traffic, non-sprayed patch)
Unfortunately everything is dead right now, but in the summer time we have floor time outdoors daily. I have a large (6'x6' maybe?) round section of wire that I put out in my backyard and it stays there to protect the grass in that area (from wild animals and such) In spring summer and fall rather than having indoor floor time, we go out daily to the "pen" and have grass time. They eat till they are stuffed on grass, I swear. We haven't been able to do it since we grew from 2 pigs to 7 pigs, so it should be very interesting this spring trying to get them all out there! I have got to try to remember to get my roll of wire and make a 2nd play pen out there, so I will have space to divide boars from sows when the time comes!

None of the "babies" have been outside yet, so I can't wait until we can take them out for their first 'feed on the lawn'. Theya re going to go nuts!
