The only time when you should consider putting lid on the cage from what I have heard is when you have other animals in the house or sometimes if you have boys in one cage next to a cage of girls there have been times when the boys will try to climb over to visit the sows. One of my boys tried to climb up the first day the sows came home. The lady at my nearby gp rescue said she had one of her boars escape once also. |
