Sounds like my mom when I wanted a hamster at 12 years old. I was finally allowed to get one at 15. My dad was pretty neutral about it, but my mom was dead set against it (for similar reasons that your mom gave). I'd just bring it up every now & then. Like, when I showed them my report card, at birthdays...Christmas. Eventually they cracked. |
