Now it's time to have a look around town!

Dumfries is a town in the South West of Scotland. It is in the middle of 'rural nowhere', taking about two hourws to reach either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
The River Nith runs through the town, and being close to the estuary of the Solway, it is tidal, and regularly floods.

and in the other direction, he shows Charlie the Devorgilla Bridge - the oldest standing stone bridge in Scotland.
