There is a picture of the screws when you put them in the ramp shown. You have to slightly push them into the coroplast, than screw them the rest of the way. They are very secure and not going anywhere.

(Please don't take this the wrong way, but is 21 inches long enough? Isn't to steep? )

It is not to steep, not one of my pigs has a problem, not even when they are running at top speed. They book up and down that ramp and that leaves just the right amount of room in the front of the cage to come down the ramp.
