For a cage 2 grids deep (mine is a 2X6), buy 2 pieces of wire closet shelving 16" deep. They will cut it to length for you at the store (Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.). Connect the two pieces in the middle with cable ties, so you can hinge it up from either side. Set it on top of your cage, and you have instant strong cage lid. |
