Re: more bath questions

After a protracted incident with an over-excited boar, my girls and his brother had to have a bath. They had a great time, but the best bit was afterwards when my husband came upstairs and asked what I was doing. "What does it look like?" ... "Blow drying the pigs...!" They sat like statues on a towel on the spare bed, just loving the warm air. Offie the abby looked like a poodle for days after, and smelt just gorgeous as the baby shampoo I used was cherry and almond flavour. They are very slippery once you've got them soaped, though, so make sure they can't jump into trouble.

(I was very careful, and they were so sticky that something had to be done rather quickly, but it showed that baby shampoo does work as a one-off if you are desperate. It was only the second bath I've ever given pigs in 25 years - shows how clean they keep themselves. Our blind rabbit needed a bottom-bath at least twice daily.)
