What is Clorox® Anywhere Hard Surface™ daily sanitizing spray and how does it work?
Clorox® Anywhere Hard Surface™ spray is a new sanitizing spray unlike anything else on the market. It is strong enough to kill 99.9% of bacteria, but gentle enough to be used in around kids, pets or food. It's a dilute bleach technology that is stabilized by balancing the pH. By itself, diluted bleach is not stable for very long. The key to Clorox® Anywhere Hard Surface™ spray is balancing the pH to a region that delivers good stability. The end product is a ready-to-use, EPA registered sanitizer that is as gentle as water, with no harsh fumes (EPA Reg. No. 5813-85). This product should not whiten or bleach surfaces.

Clorox® Anywhere Hard Surface™ spray starts with very pure water and pure refined bleach. The product is then pH balanced for maximum stability.
The concentration of sodium hypochlorite in Clorox® Anywhere Hard Surface™ spray is 0.0095%. This is significantly lower than the sodium hypochlorite level of 6.0% in many common household bleach. The result is a product that is gentle as water, but strong enough to kill 99.9% of bacteria on hard, non-porous surfaces. This means it is gentle enough to use around kids, pets and food.
