Another way to pick up on drafts is to light a candle in the area. Hold it still or place it in several spots, and if the flame flicks around, then you have a draft. That is the method that was described in an Ontario energy savings tips brochure a few years ago.
You could try on the floor in a few places, or sit it on a chair for different elevations.
I am concerned about what "dog proofed" means, depending on the dog, it is virtually impossible to effectively "dog proof" a cage, especially if it is at dog level. |
