| Re: 15 Guinea Pigs advertized in Arkansas I got them all. I gave her $100 and brought them all home with me. There is a total of 17 of them. I couldn't leave any of them. It was... sad.
Now what? She told me there were 9 girls and 8 boys. Well, they are divided up with 9 in one store bought guinea cage. Yes, I said 9 in one cage. Wall to wall fur. 5 that she said were male in a small store bought pet cage. And a mom and two babies born today were in a storage tub. There was one inch of poop packed in the bottom of each cage. They were very hungry and thirsty. They have been eating every since I got them home. I think they have probably been starving for some time now because the only one that are a decent size are the two original parents. The rest are very small.
I guess as soon as I get the kids to bed, I see if I can tell who is a boy and who is a girl and get them into the correct group then start building a couple larger cages to put them in. Lucky for me she told me how to tell the boys for the girls. I guess she must be an expert. Ha Ha!
Wish me luck and let me know if anyone wants any guinea piggies. |
